Motril - Busy market, good source for bed linen and towels, shoes are also in abundance
Huétor Tájar - The largest and best market in the Poniente Granadino region for shoes, plants & flowers, local vegetabes & local olive oil

Wednesday

Dúrcal - Large market with fresh local produce and good selection of clothing
Baza - Typical Spainish market located next to the train station

Thursday

Orgiva - Large market selling fresh fruit and veg, also has more of an arts and crafts feel to it - best place to buy spices and incense
Albuñuelas - Small country market selling local produce (speciality - cheese's and olive oil)

Friday

Padul - Large market selling clothes and produce
Almuñécar - Large market aimed predominantly at the tourist market - excellent place to browse. There is a large selection of clothes, household goods, shoes, arts and crafts and gimmicky items (see Saturday for Antique Market)

Saturday

Granada - (New location Palacio de Deportes) A great market for bargain shoes and  clothes
Almuñécar - First Saturday of each month there is a large carboot market - Huge area full of clothes, household goods, bric a brac and antiques

Sunday

Granada - (Near bus station) The largest market in the region offering an assortment of clothes, shoes, fabrics, ceramics and groceries; comfortable shoes are a must!
Nerja - Large carboot sale which is geared to the English - here you can find English books, bric a brac and some great bargains if you hunt around!
